On a recent trip to Dallas, TX we checked out The Modern Art Museum of Forth Worth. I’m glad we went, because it is now my favorite modern art museum. Outdoor sculptures by Richard Serra and Roxy Paine were big, sharp and perfectly sited. The work inside was also extremely well curated. “Road Tested” by Ed Ruscha was inspired by the artists’ love of driving, while the gallery below featured beautifully sculpted, but distorted guns by Robert Lazzarini. Afterall, what else would you want to see in Texas?
